Jack Sloan
Finance Director
Jack Sloan serves as finance director for DRG. He joined the company in April 2010.
Sloan has nearly 25 years of experience in finance and administration, most recently serving as counselor for the Small Business Development Corporation of the Toledo, Ohio, Chamber of Commerce. In that role he worked cooperatively with the private sector, educational community and federal, state and local governments to provide professional financial consulting services.
For more than 10 years he held the position of director of finance for The Toledo Blade Company, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, internal and external reporting, management and business metrics reporting and all general accounting functions. Prior to that, he was the controller for PG Publishing Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., and served as director of financial systems at Block Communications of Toledo.
Sloan holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Toledo and is a certified public accountant. He is affiliated with the American Institute of C.P.A.'s, the Ohio Society of C.P.A.'s and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He serves as treasurer and business advisor for the Independent Collegian, the independent student newspaper of The University of Toledo.
He and his wife, Kym, have three sons; Tyler, Brody and Peyton.
