Scott Campbell

Director Digital Imaging

Scott Campbell is director of digital imaging. He develops and oversees all digital workflow processes implemented at DRG to accommodate industry standards in image capture, color management, print Web images and video.

Campbell has been with DRG-owned companies for over 25 years, beginning as a photographer. He has been responsible for a multitude of magazine covers and other photos illustrating DRG products. He helped the company successfully navigate from film to digital photography, developed color management systems and pioneered the company's video efforts.

Campbell received an associate of applied arts in commercial photography from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas. He continued his education attending many workshops, including the Ansel Adams Friends of Photography, and has studied with and been influenced by Ruth Bernhard, John Sexton, Michael Kenna, Ray McSavaney, Dean Collins, Keith Carter and True Redd. He attended the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation in Pittsburgh, Pa., specializing his skills on digital imaging process controls and color management workflows.

Campbell serves on the advisory board for the Kilgore College Photography Program and the Board of Directors of the Texas Photographic Society, and teaches workshops through their yearly events. His personal work can be seen at EastTexasPhotographer.com.

He lives in Longview, Texas, with his wife, Tammy-Cromer Campbell and their Dalmatian, Maggie May.
