McKee has more than 30 years' experience in direct marketing, magazine publishing and fulfillment. He has served in marketing and executive positions in both DRG's publishing and fulfillment divisions.

McKee first moved with his family from East Texas to Berne, Ind., to join the House of White Birches marketing group in June 1993. In August 1996, he and his family moved back to East Texas where he led the effort to consolidate in-house fulfillment capabilities to create Strategic Fulfillment Group (SFG) in January 1997, becoming its first COO. He returned to Berne to run DRG publishing operations in September 2003.

McKee grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. He received his undergraduate degree from Ambassador College in East Texas. He worked in production and editorial positions for local newspapers in East Texas for several years, and as grant administrator for a small community for a little less than a year, before joining Annie's Attic in October 1980.

He currently serves as a director on the board of IMAG (Independent Magazine Advisory Group, a part of MPA--The Association of Magazine Media). McKee also served for several years on the Berne Tree Board, including two years as president. He served for two terms on the Big Sandy City Council, two years as president of the Big Sandy Chamber of Commerce and two terms as a director on the Big Sandy Community Development Corporation board. He was honored as Big Sandy's Man of the Year in 1991.

Married in 1975, he and his wife Janice have four grown children.
